VMworld 2010 – TA8188: Competitive Platform Shootout

VMworld 2010 is approaching quickly — August 30 – September 2 at Moscone Center in San Francisco and October 12 – 14 in Copenhagen.

A colleague and I have teamed up to present a session which covers successful multi-hypervisor strategies for your enterprise a wide range of VMware vSphere competitive advantages over some of the other platforms.

Specifically, we will talk about:

  • Hypervisor footprint, built-in features, management, upgrades
  • Shared storage advantages and overall vSphere virtual storage excellence
  • Resource management

The session is currently scheduled for the following times in San Francisco:

  • Tuesday 3:30
  • Thursday 10:30

    I’ve seen that this is on in Copenhagen, Thursday 14th, 11:30am. I didn’t know if there was a 2nd / 1st session.
